As we forgive our debtors
Forgiveness
It’s a very touchy subject
We want the people
That have done us wrong
To suffer
Feel the pain that we have suffered
Forgive them?
And release them from their debt?
Lord don’t You know
How much from them we suffered!
“They first remorseful must be,
Beg forgiveness
Then they must know
Each detail of our hurt”
Or so we think
And secretly wish often
Forgetting how much God
Forgave us too
Lord, when we came to You
You us forgave
You did not sit us first and give us lectures
Of how our sin so deeply You did hurt
You us forgave, forgave
Released our debt
You want us also
To release offenses
Forgive us Lord
That we forgive so slowly
Give us the grace Lord
To forgive like Christ

Forgive, forgive
I asked God to forgive me
And just like that
He me forgave, washed clean
But then somebody
Hurt me very deeply
I wanted to
Say lectures of my hurt
“I might forgive
But only if that person
First knows how very deeply
I am hurt
They must experience
My sorrow, anguish
In great remorse then
Ask me to forgive
They must do this
Or that and only maybe
I might forgive
But still a great wall build”
But this is not
How God my debts forgave
He did not give me
Lectures of my sin
He did not say
You must do this or that
And only then I will
You then forgive
He did not say
I will forgive, but still
You must be punished
For your great big sin
All of my debt
All of my sin, and shame
Was placed of Jesus
He paid all of it
When I remembered this
And thought of this
My sin was great
Yet God it just forgave
How can I not
Forgive what others did
Forgive like Christ
Forgave all of my sin
Forgive our debts
As we forgive our debts
You taught us this
Lord, help us to forgive

Give us this day our daily bread
By bread alone we will not live
But by the Word that comes from God
By it we’ll live, by Bread of life
The Bread of life- the Word of God
Jesus is Bread, the Word of God
Teach me Lord teach me, help me taste
Taste of Your Goodness, eat Your Word
The Bread of Life- Your freely gave
We have the Word of God, but God
You see- affairs of life- so often
Choke out the Word- the Bread from us
God teach us, help us- to not let
Us You neglect, not read the Word
And help us to not only read
But eat the Word, each day consume it
Give us this day, our daily bread
You freely gave, we have it Lord
Help us consume this daily Bread
Never neglect it, eat it daily

Give us this day our daily bread
For You provide what we do need
Our food, our sustenance, our work
Give us this day Lord, what we need
Give us this day our daily bread
And energy to get it
And wisdom give, Lord wisdom give
To get the bread; money not waste
Give us this day our daily bread
And help us not to hoard it
But when You give, help us to give
And bless those who are hungry
Give us this day our daily bread
And teach us to be thankful
Thankful for bread, food that You give
Help us be thankful always
Give us this day our daily bread
Give grace to not complain
If only for today we have
Give grace to still be thankful

Help us not be complacent
When in abundance we it have
Help us to still be thankful

Give grace to not be prideful
And to not think that by our strength
And might we have received it

And help us to be humble
And all the glory give to You

May Your Kingdom come o Father
May Your will be done on earth
May Your will be done here also
Like it’s done in Heaven now
In Your Kingdom there is joy
There is peace and righteousness
May these things be here now also
Be on earth like in Your kingdom
In Your Kingdom there is love
May this love on earth be also
May Your love each person know
While on earth, experience, taste it
In Your Kingdom there is freedom
Freedom from all sin, oppression
May each person now experience
Freedom that’s found through Lord Jesus
In Your Kingdom there is joy
Always joy and never sadness
May that joy be here on earth
Joy in Jesus, now here always
In Your Kingdom- there is peace
Hearts at rest are and not troubled
May that peace now reign in hearts
Here on earth may peace be tasted

Righteousness is in Your Kingdom
May it also be on earth
To each heart and in each corner
May Your righteousness Lord come
In Your kingdom there is worship
Worship of the Most High God
May each person learn to worship
Worship now You here on earth
In Your Kingdom there’s much praise
Exaltation of Lord Jesus
May Your Kingdom come on earth
And each tongue now praise You Jesus
In Your Kingdom there’s the Presence
Presence of You Lord our God
May Your Kingdom come O Father
May each person know Your Presence
In Your Kingdom we’ll see Jesus
We’ll behold the One us saved
May Your Kingdom come here also
May our eyes be fixed on Christ

May it reign now in our hearts
That wherever we now go

Lord, I need help in this

Burn pride and all hopelessness too

Burn bitterness that took root

For Jesus to just shine through me
I want Lord Your love to be seen

Consuming Fire You are
So little I know of this fire
But I want to burn with it

The fire of goodness and mercy

I’ve doubted, I sinned, believed not
But I have repented, turned back
And my faith I placed in Christ

So often I read Your Word
But it was not real in my life
So I pray to You, my Father
Please make Your Word real in me
Your Word says we have mind of Christ
Lord make this truth real to me
Your Word says that I’m enriched
In everything by You Lord
In all utterance and all knowledge
Lord make this Word real to me
Your Word says that I’m Your temple
Your Spirit now lives in me
Lord make this Word real to me
That I will forget this never
Your Word says that I received
Abundance of grace, gift of righteousness
And I will in life reign through Christ
Lord make this Word real in my life
Your Word says I’ve been set free
From sin, I’m a slave of righteousness
Lord make this Word real to me
