“The Lord’s Prayer” Poem 13
Give us this day our daily bread For You provide what we do need Our food, our sustenance, our work Give us this day Lord, what we need Give us this day our daily bread And energy to get it And wisdom give, Lord wisdom give To get the bread; money not waste Give us this day our daily bread And help us not to hoard it But when You give, help us to give And bless those who are hungry Give us this day our daily bread And teach us to be thankful Thankful for bread, food that You give Help us be thankful always Give us this day our daily bread Give grace to not complain If only for today we have Give grace to still be thankful Give us this day our daily bread Help us not be complacent When in abundance we it have Help us to still be thankful Give us this day our daily bread Give grace to not be prideful And to not think that by our strength And might we have received it Give us this day our daily bread And help us to be humble And all the glory give to You And always to be thankful 4/25/2021
