As I sat full of self-pity And felt sorry for myself There were people dying, hurting And so many went to hell "Do you see the world that’s hurting? Without Christ many still die Will you go on being self-centered? Or allow Christ thought you live?" As I sat full of self- pity I reminded was of Love Jesus came- gave up His life And for self He did not live I my life have to God given So self-pity: You Must Leave! I refuse you! I renounce you! You will not me rule in life! I am crucified with Jesus! I am His, Belong to Christ! I have self denied, Christ followed I my cross take- follow Him Lord I need You, need You daily Help me keep my eyes on Christ On His suffering, His mercy Help me be Christ-centered always 11/22/2022
