The Author of Life was killed
Perplexing as this may seem
By Him were all things created
His Power- so great- you see
The Author of Life was killed
And Death did rejoice in this
It seemed like a victory great
To kill Him who Creator was
The Author of Life was killed
But really, He gave His life
He gave it for you and me
His life- He laid down for us
The Author of Life was killed
But dead stayed just for three days
You see Death could not Him hold
The Author of Life still LIVES!!
The Author of Life still LIVES
And He wants you this to know:
He loves you- for you He died
He’s waiting- will you trust Him?
